Visited The Farm in mid 80's. Stayed with Betsy Shallot and her 2 children. The mountains were beautiful. Early morning in the spring, the air was crisp,Serene. I was Clothed, Fed, Nurtured. Betsy openly Shared her Children allowing me to feel welcome in her home and her Family.

Sleeping singular in an old yellow school bus; Wood heat included.

It is one of the most endearing memories of my mid 20's.

Children well behaved. Young yet knowing.

Worked helping to re-tin part of a barn. Collecting kindeling for my fire. Helped with the caretaking of the children.

Have I mentioned that the air was awesome. Pure Electric. Medition in the early crisp air, watching the sun rise from the mountain top.

Can't beat it as a treatment for drug and alchohol abuse.

Thanks Guys and Betsy if your Still around...When I left I took some articles of clothing that weren't mine, Guess I just wanted to have a piece of The Farm with me always. The patchwork skirt only lasted about five years. The memories keep kickin though. I've often wondered how {and if} The Farm is today.

Sincerely

You have to listen to the right people, the ones that turned down the entitlements to learn the truth about themselves and the world around them
