we move, we travel, in circles rare and common, but eventually, occasionally, they overlap. i think, occasionally, of these things, hoping you had a chance to read a book i recommended, you replied, this summer, when i lived in japan. now, as winter in china draws colder around my ankles, i am thankful for my net connection, this ability to share a season strangely void around me with those i have never met. it’s a good thing you’re doing.
