<description>Dervala, I'm in one of those PMS moods where one minute I am laughing like a fool then crying at the same time. Just had one of those moments reading this.

We have just moved back to northern Ontario where it seems at times we are living in 2005 one moment then in pioneer times the next. The culture shock although no where near what you descibe above, is still evident. I truly believe that openness in heart and spirit is what is needed for us to find our way. We are fortunate that we made this move of our own free will and can make the choices that we are making and not a pawn of political will.

I was raised Catholic with a newfoundland slant in Toronto, so church attendance was definately part of my life through good and difficult times. Colin and I have decided to embrace the local United Church gatherings. In a small community like this church going is one of the only community activities esp. for kids. Anyway, I was invited to the gospel hall the other night cause I was saying how much I love the old hymns. What a great bunch of musicians....here were a bunch of back country folk rocken on singing gospel. I felt awesome leaving. Needless to say, I won't be doing any solos anytime soon!

Don't know why I decided to tell everyone this but....couldn't stop typing. I am having a rare moment to myself...rockin on to Rod Stewart...every picture tells a story ...

Jese, I can feel another story starting, maybe two about this album. They will have to wait. Like the Hmong remind us.... impossible to stick to the point.

Have a wonderful Easter....and from the pagan in me...happy spring.

Terri
